The Bay County Sheriff’s Office announced an arrest today after an investigation into a fight at Arnold High School last evening that put a man in the hospital with serious injuries.

 

Investigators with the BCSO Criminal Investigations Division were called to a local hospital at about 7:30 p.m. Tuesday evening January 17, 2012. They arrived to find a male victim badly beaten to the head and jaw. The victim was unable to answer many questions do to his injuries.

 

A witness that brought the victim to the hospital stated to investigators that he had driven the victim to an athletic event at Arnold High School earlier in the evening. The victim got out to find a friend. The witness saw the victim a short time later returning to the car. As the victim approached, the witness heard a large thump and got out of the car to find the victim on the ground and a boy he recognized as Kristopher Taylor King, a student at Arnold High School, walking away. The witness stated he panicked and drove the victim to the hospital.

 

Investigators today made contact with King and arrested him on a charge of Aggravated Battery, a felony. King, DOB 8-7-95, of 128 N. Glades Trail, Panama City Beach, was taken to the Bay County Jail.
